The
future of
Auburn Schine Theater
The historic Schine’s Theater in
downtown Auburn, designed by John Eberson, and built in 1938, will
be restored to its original Art Deco design while the facility will
be rehabilitated for performance, movies, music, media and visual
arts uses. An interpretive visitor center in the lobby is currently
underway for the community and visitors to understand and
participate in the renovation process and the unique period of
history of the theater.
